I hate my ears

So I have a pretty large ear infection in my left ear and a little one in my right. My first two ear infections as a result of the pressure in the cabin in the flight back from Frankfurt. So I am not drinking wine really and am in uber-pain. This is an aflliction my doctor told me of children aged 3 months to 6 years. Am I regressing?

  1. Regressing? Can that happen when the train never really left the station?:-)

  3. It's controversial with kids. Antibiotics don't help them much, but the kids are so uncomfortable that there is big pressure on the docs to *do something*!

  4. Not only pressure on the docs but also pressure on kid's ears!

  5. this may not help you today, but maybe the next time you fly. Since that lovely graphic you posted points to fluid as a culprit for your pain, maybe decongestants prior to flying may clear out you head and prevent the problem. My doctor recommended this to me after several flights that caused an equilibrium problem in my ears. Basically, I felt like I was on a wobbly boat ride that lasted for one month.
