Off to Germany

Well my car picks me up in 50 minutes and I am off to the land where Riesling is God and Schuerebe is a Demi-God. Very excited. Will report in detail when I get back. Odds are I will not be blogging through the 18th or so of August so thanks everybody for reading and I promise mucho content when I get back!

    Have a great trip, Lyle. I might just have to side with sfjoe though... I'm not sure Scheurebe quite makes it to demi-god status.

    i must disagree.
    a 2001 Pfeffingen Scheurebe Auslese was one of the top wines i have ever tried.

    zingy and electric.

    can you name a mix of riesling and sylvaner better?

    müller thurgau? please

    and to be fair, it was sold to me by Herr Fass around 2003. no more than 25$. a true steal.

    remember that one Herr Fass?
