When I think of European art house films of the 60's one film comes to mind and that is Blow Up by Michelangelo Antonioni. I love this film. David Hemmings, Sarah Miles (yum!), the Yardbirds, mimes playing tennis all come together in this masterpiece. Keeps you guessing till the end and is a movie you can see over and over again. So this goes in the cue this weekend with the Bergman marathon. Red Desert too. A brilliant director gone.

First Bergman . . .now Antonioni
