I love points!

The Tempest - 89+

Calvin Coolidge - 75

Spiro Agnew - 72

Budweiser - 81

iphone - 95+

Newton - 56

2004 Clos Erasmus - 100?

Robert Downey Jr. - 98+

Paris Hilton - 50 (she gets 50 for being human!)

The Baltimore Sun - 85

C'mon people I want point ratings. I cannot handle things that are unrated that I have to interpret on my own merit!

  1. Thank you for this. Not only are points great for everything, how nice is it when someone simply uses them to sell things(i.e. why get that Spiro Agnew when the Tempest scored so much higher(even though it wasn't in the 90's).

  2. Everyone underrates Calvin Coolidge just because he wasn't made in a modern, blockbuster, Clintonized style. Just 3 points higher than Spiro Agnew?? You must have had an off-bottle.

  3. Paris Hilton is human? Dude, you and I have completely different standards for where we set the 50-point mark...

    Prospero's Books - 78. Spoofulated, over-extracted, alcoholic mess.

  7. wagatron,

Funny as I had Cheney up at 50 points but thought it was too easy. See though Cheney being human is pushing it. Nice list.

  8. Lyle,

No points given here. Get me drunk and I'll start revealing who the 50-pointers are. But not here.

Alas, I'll say that Robert Downey, Jr. as a 98+ is something I can agree with. It would be, between us, as er Haut-Brion is between Mr. Parker and me.

  9. LL,

Are you gonna be like Diane Keaton in that scene in Manhattan when she goes into a speech about how everybody is overrated and she proceeds to rattle off names like Van Gogh, Bergman, Mailer etc?

If so you better open something like '21 Haut Brion so I can deal with it!

  10. Perhaps.

And no. You'll deal with it and like it.

  11. I'm a fan of the binary 1 or 0 scale. It/He/She is either a 1 or 0 at that moment of experience in your current state. Naturally, a 0 today could be a 1 later tonight and vice versa.
