My top 5 acid moments of the year so far . . .

1) 2004 Hans Wirsching Kronsberg GG - Just like "Hello" I am here . . .
2) 2005 F. Weins Prum Graacher Himmelreich Auslese - Very present but you would never know it. Best integration of the year so far.
3) 1999 Paolo Bea Sagrantino di Montefalco - The acidity in this wine was amazing cosidering how much richness and texture it needed to battle it out and stake its presence.
4) 2002 Dauvissat Les Preuses - Again, Hello mister! I am here . . .not as crunchy as Wirsching but longer and more piquant.
5) NV Jacques Selosse Substance - Can acid caress? Well it did.

Next up my most memorable tannins of the year guest hosted by Randy Dunn and Joseph Roty. Stay tuned!
