This was a great wine and absolutely astounding for the money. Had the "Finottes" and liked it allright but it definetly was not something special. The "Les Longeroies" was fantastic. Color was beautiful. Has the saturation that I find so common in 2005's. The nose was deep and animal with hints of mint and sweet cherry fruit. Palate was classic 2005. Loads of fruit on top of a very serious structure. Great delineation and detail with amazing concentration. Pure and sweet tannins. Fantastic wine.
