Digable Planets - Rebirth Of Slick
Ummm...this stuff was really cool and now that lots of time has passed Digable Planets has proved to be timeless, rhythmic, lyrically brilliant and ridiculously head-nodding hip-hop. Their breakout song.
Good tune...but it's one jazz horn lick and one short bass lick lifted from old records. I can't help thinking the whole tune from whoever the original musicians were would be more interetsing... IMHO.
