The Spatlese of the Vintage?

I just had the 2005 Schafer-Frohlich Bockenauer Felseneck Spatlese GK and I have not tasted a finer Spatlese in this vintage. This wine was pure magic. Nose was complex and deep with clean pure botrytis, peach skin, foie gras, honey, nectarine flesh and wonderful mineral expansiveness. This was some nose that kept on getting better as the night went on. Palate was showstopping with its deep rich botryized fruit but with that clean '05 botrytis. I have not tasted better botrytis than in 2005. The purity and length were astounding as was the velevety shimmering texture. The acidity was wonderful as Tim's wines are not shy in that departement. Absolutely riveting.
