Just off of the Wire: Small Allocation of Zero Dosage, 100% Pinot Muenier, Christophe Meunier A Champagne Geek Trifecta

Another Small Stash of the Great Christophe Mignon's Insane 100% Brut Nature, Pinot Meunièr.  One of the Best Zero Dosage Wines - Brilliant. I am a retailer at heart as it was my background for over 18+ years before I opened Fass Selections, and as a retailer, a good deal is like crack for us. Well I have a doozy today. Earlier this year I offered the NV Christophe Mignon Rose "pur meunier" and it sold out like the hottest hotcakes, well today I have the NV Christophe Mignon Brut Nature "pur meunier" which can be had for as little as little as $42.99 on a 3-pack. Compare at $45-$56. I have super little and it will probably be allocated. This is 100% Pinot Meunier with ZERO grams of dosage but you hardly notice as the purity and depth of flavor is just ridiculous. Really rich on the palate with terrific mineral expression and some lovely red fruit. The finish is bone dry and just electric. I can see why Christophe is looked at as the new master of meunier.  Mignon's approach is a little bit of this and a little bit of that, with some biodynamic principles but he is not certified as he refused to deal with all of that, but has a great respect towards nature. His wines have made the list at Noma, considered to be the top restaurant in the world by many. All of that results in super clean and super tasty wines. I only have a little bit as I grabbed what they had as soon as I saw it at this price so it will be allocated.
