have written everything possible there is to write about them. Every adjective, every superlative and top levels of hyperbole that even surprise me I have written in the 3 years of Fass Selections when talking about the unique and delicious wines of Enderle and Moll. And every bit of praise and hyperbole is not enough. They are that good. If the allocation battles are any hint then I have witnessed a star being born. I never thought before I opened Fass Selections I'd be doling out $19 bottles of Baden Pinot Noir Rose or $22 bottles of single vineyard Muller-Thurgau, but I am happy to do it and a star has been birthed. And if you know Sven Enderle the term rock star could be used as this man loves music and many great classic rock bands, to which he posts many YouTube clips on Facebook.
Luckily today's wines are not as tightly allocated as the previous offer but it is Enderle and Molll so you do not know really what you will get until the invoice has been paid. We are thankful for every bottle. First up we have the last of the 2014 whites to offer, the 2014 Enderle & Moll Auxxerois for as little as $21.99 a bottle on a 4-pack. Kind of a quirky sibling of Chardonnay and I have not tasted many German ones and even less Baden ones (only 72 hectares planted) but I have tasted this one and it is spectacular. They did a little more skin contact across the board with their whites in 2014 and what you have is an Auxxerois with terrific acidity and intensity and wonderful dense textures. Not entirely clear but pretty damn close this is at once intense and opulent yet nimble and fine grained as well offering generous waves of apple and pear fruit. Across the board the 2014 Enderle & Moll whites are what one wants. As they are made in such small quantities and demand is high this will be allocated. Yes allocated Auxxerois. Only at Fass Selections.
Up next is a Fass Selections list all time favorite, the 2014 Enderle and Moll "Cuvee Ozzie" formerly known as Liason for $29.99 a bottle on a 4-pack. For me, after having just tasted it in September at the estate I can without a doubt say it is my favorite "Cuvee Ozzie." Maybe others will prefer, 12 or 13 but I prefer '14 for its incredible juicy quality along with its very velvety texture and unique flavors and uncommon depth. But oh man is it so juicy and drinkable. And that depth. It made me swoon. And swoon I did. So pure, so elegant, lithe, nimble, breathtaking and not in that Seinfeld way. I was at the moment tasting it struggling for words, but now as I can read my note and reflect I can almost taste the crunchy fruit and feel the supple texture enveloping my palate as I type this. The wine can take you places. If 2012 is finesse driven and intense, while 2013 being lighter color and somewhat deeper, 2014 melds the two previous vintages and adds juiciness and crunchiness. There is almost too much to like and at $29.99 on a 4-pack the tariff seems just like a small remittance. Spectacular as all can be. In fact I am so bullish on this particular version of Ozzie I have a special case price of $27.99 a bottle! Act Fast!
