Hint of light sweet oak that will integrate with 6 months to 2 years of age. Gorgeous, apple, baking spices, hint of iodine, man this smells like Puligny, the terroir is so good it cannot be contained. Some florals as well some just ripe vineyard peach and clean and pure minerality. It's really batting way above its average. It's like the Brady Anderson 50 home run seson minus the steroids.


The palate is teeming with energy, vibrancy and freshness. Saline and mineral and has an overall refreshing quality which is one of the principal characteristics of any good Aligote. It's really fruity as well and has terrific salinity to balance it all out. Noting like salty Puligny fruit. Inner mouth aromas are there with florals, smoke and hickory. Fresh, vibrant and wonderful texture that is some parts ripeness and other parts concentrated minerality. Finish is wonderfully persistent and outrageously refreshing.
